工業pH計的測量電極一般分銻電極和玻璃電極。參比電極一般采用性能穩定、結構堅固的固體電極或甘汞電極。隨著制作工藝的發展,目前大多數工業用的pH計把測量電極和參比極組裝成在一起,形成復合電極,使電極更小型化,安裝方便。

工業pH計的電極保護:
1.請不要把PH計電極直接投入水中,應使用電極安裝支架或流通杯。(適用于沉入式安裝或流通式安裝)。
2.安裝前請務必使用生料帶(3/4螺紋處)做好防水封閉工作,避免水進入PH電極中,造成PH電極電纜線短路。
3.電極接上儀表后,執行校正工作之前請將儀器上電預熱30分鐘。
4.執行校正工作電極標定時,應注意電極不能平放,要垂直放置。(請將電極玻璃球泡朝下)防止電極MV數據偏離。
5.PH計電極使用年限為一年,過期請及時更換電極。
工業pH計的保養:
1、測量時,應先在蒸餾水中(或去離子水)洗凈,并用濾紙吸干水分,防止雜質帶進被測液中,電極球泡和液絡部應完全浸在被測液內。
2、電極不用時應洗凈,插進加有3M氯化鉀溶液的保護套,或將電極插進加有3M氯化鉀溶液的容器。
3、使用時間較長的電極,它的玻璃膜可能變成本透明或附有沉積物,此時可用鹽酸洗滌,并用水沖洗。
4、檢查接線端子處是否干燥,如有沾污,請用無水酒精擦拭,吹干后使用。
5、應避免長期浸泡在蒸餾水或蛋白質溶液中,并防止與有機硅油脂接觸。
6、建議用戶每月對電極進行清洗一次以及配合儀器校正。
7、當您用以上方法對電極進行維護和保養時仍不能進行校正程序及正常測定,說明電極已無法恢復響應,請更換電極。
